Chocolate Layer

Nut butter layer


  • Melt coconut oil for chocolate layer.
  • Add all other ingredients for the chocolate layer to the melted coconut oil. Stir until completely mixed.
  • Pour or spoon in approximately 1 tbsp of the mix into 12 silicone cupcake liners or 12 parchment paper cupcake liners.
  • Place in freezer for 5-10 minutes.
  • Melt coconut oil for nut butter layer.
  • Mix in all remaining nut butter layer ingredients into melted coconut oil.
  • Pour approximately 1 tbsp of mixture onto hardened chocolate layer.
  • Place in freezer for 5-10 mins. Until firm.
  • Pop out of silicone molds or parchment paper cupcake liners.
  • Enjoy!
  • Store in freezer. Pull them out and let then thaw for a few minutes and then enjoy again and again.



* I’m super excited about these nourishing nuggets. I created this recipe as an anti-inflammatory sweet treat option. If you are looking to decrease inflammation and still enjoy something creamy, chocolaty and delicious, this is it. Peanut butter is known to be inflammatory, so be sure to use almond butter or mixed nut butter that is pb free. My favorite mixed nut butter is the Kirkland signature brand from Costco.
