Coach Sarah's Easy Peasy Taco Seasoning
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1⁄2 cup chopped onion optional, if you don’t love onion, you can omit; if it is a texture thing use 1 tsp. onion powder
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1⁄2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 3/4 cup water
- Brown meat.
- Add seasonings.
- Simmer all together until water evaporates off the meat.
- Enjoy with all your favorite toppings.
For a crossover for kids or maintenance mode: use corn tortilla shells For S: Use 1 low carb tortilla or make a taco salad with all the fixins.
For E: Use lean ground turkey or beef that has been rinsed with hot water. Then omit all the fats, add 1⁄4 cup of beans, 1⁄4 cup rice and salsa. Can be place in a low carb tortilla, enjoyed over salad, or 1 small sprouted corn tortilla.
